Welcome to
The Great Green Action

The future is forest.
Improving livelihoods to regenerate and conserve forests.

In the heart of Africa, where nature and life are intertwined with diverse ecosystems, we find our mission: to regenerate Africa’s forest through action.

We are losing forests faster than we think

We are losing forests faster than we think. Deforestation is a major driver of climate change, loss of biodiversity, soil degradation and food insecurity. It’s time for collective action. Starting from the ground up, we must create an enabling ecosystem to address deforestation.

We are building a unique framework where all ecosystem players unite: enablers, cultivators, high-impact projects, frontline communities and market participants - all together to make a real impact.

The Great Green Action

When we lose forests. We lose life. The Great Green Action is an effort to restore and conserve forests and, in turn, preserve life. Our belief is straightforward: bringing all ecosystem players in a collaborative model that unites transparent practices, enforces integrity in ecological choices, and creates real impact in conservation and restoration efforts - all through four connected pillars.

Supported by the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM), our high-impact projects  ensure widespread realization of our collective mission to protect and restore the very essence of life: our forests.

Prioritising indigenous and native species right thing in the right place for the right reasons

Going above and beyond the traditional action

Our ethos are
Integrity

Collaboration
Quality

Forests hold 80% of the terrestrial biodiversity! They are the pulse of life—sustaining people, livelihoods, and all species who call forest home.

process

We're improving our framework in a White Paper through extensive consultations.
We invite all interested collaborators to join us.
The first step is our collaborative event at the Global Evergreening Alliance conference in Zambia from March 11th to 15th, 2024. During an interactive workshop, we'll test hypotheses and theories with experts worldwide.
